Bački Monoštor

Hemmed in by the Danube and by woodlands, this village was settled by the Šokci people from the Dalmatian hinterland 200 years ago. There is private accommodation for groups, three traditional houses, the old crafts park, singing groups, bike and boat rides and an environmental workshop on the banks of the Danube. It is famous for fi sh and other types of paprikash, and particular specialities are smoked marinated bream and kulen made from game. Their trademark beverage is a walnut liqueur.
